Richard Jerome McGough passed away at the age of 87, April 30, 2015 in Bellevue, WA.

Dick McGough began his journey on January 17, 1928 at Sprague, Washington born to Raymond and Rose McGough. In 1932 the McGough family moved to Moscow, Idaho. After graduating from Ursuline Academy in Moscow, Dick enlisted in the United States Navy.

While in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1952, his tours of duty found him in Hong Kong, the Philippines, China, Japan and Korea. After his service in the U.S. Navy he married Betty Mary Collins and they had three children.
A few years later Dick and his family moved from Moscow to Seattle and later Bellevue. In 1993 he retired after 36 years as a semi-truck driver for Safeway Stores Inc.

Weekend camping trips to the ocean or the Cascade Mountains, summer vacations traveling throughout the Western United States. Little league coach, soccer dad. Helping his wife Betty with researching and the compiling of our family history. A few of the many things Dick and his family enjoyed.
He also enjoyed coffee and crossroads, the Safeway retirees' camp outs, the Safeway Christmas get together, breakfast at Little John's and all the loves that touched his.

Dick is survived by his son, Chuck Mcgough and Carol Engen; five grandchildren, Erin McGough, Brian McGough, Jennifer Nelson, Denise Carns, son in law Ryan Carns, Alex McGough, daughter in law Pearl McGough; and his brother Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty; son David; daughter Carol; brothers Donald and Gerald; his sister Theresa.

Graveside service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial park in Bellevue, Washington on Monday May 18, 2015 at 1:00PM
