How Did We Do?

He lived long and prospered.

Tony "The Joker" Brekken Sr., (Born- George Henry Brekken), of Federal Way WA passed over with dignity and grace on December 1st, 2016 at the age of 83.

Tony is survived by four Children, five Grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by Mother, Father and four siblings.

Tony was born on January 12th in Riverton Wyo. to Sophia L. Johnson and George Henry Brekken. He graduated from University of Wyoming in 1955 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Dow Chemical in the late 90's and then worked as a Safety Engineer for the Federal Government. After retiring Tony moved to Washington to be closer to family.

Anyone who knew Tony, and most people who just crossed his path, knew that he loved telling jokes or otherwise entertaining people. Always learning and teaching talents throughout his life Tony enjoyed: Figure skating, preforming magic, singing, analyzing handwriting, making biorhythms, bowling, scrabble, bridge, but most of all making people smile from cracking a bad joke or riddle. That part of his personality was in direct conflict from the "Spock" part of his personality, always logical and keeping his emotions in check.

A Celebration of Life open house for Tony will be on Sunday 12/4/2016 at Kloshe Illahee Clubhouse from 2pm-5pm on Sunday 12/4-2016. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tony's life, bring your favorite memory.

" I am now, and always will be your friend." Leonard Nimoy as Spock.

"The Ship"
What is dying?
I am standing on the seashore, a ship sails in the morning breeze and starts for the ocean.
She is an object of beauty and I stand watching her till at last she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says: "She is gone."
Gone!
Where
Gone from my sight that is all.
She is just as large in the masts, hull and spars as she was when I saw her, and just as able to bear her load of living freight to its destination.
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in her, and just at the moment when someone at my side says,
"She is gone"
there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout:
"There she comes!"
and that is dying." Bishop Brentt
