I don't read the obituaries in the newspapers often but sometimes I do read them in the Sunday Seattle Times and I happened to see Carl's name on July 16th. I immediately read it to see if it was the same Carl that I knew from AIMSCO....alas, it was. I didn't know Carl well, but we were friendly competitors in the industrial fastener business and occasionally AIMSCO would buy an item from us (Wachtel Fastening Systems) because we were a distributor for whatever product line for which they had a requirement. Carl and I would run into each other at trade shows or out on sales calls; he always had a smile and we would have friendly conversations. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen him in many years.

My condolences to his Carl's family. 60 is far too young to leave this world.

The days grow darker and the world colder with Carl's passing. Carl has only been a part of my life for the past couple years, yet still he has a special place in my heart. I once told him how jealous I was the his grandson has such an awesome guy for a grandpa. My deepest heartfelt condolences go to his family.

I was shocked to hear about Carl's passing. I had great pleasure working with him for the past 3 years. because every morning he would come to work and say good Morning and warm everybody's heart.

I was shocked learning about Carl's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him for the past 6.5 years. Every morning I was always greeted with a hello or good morning by him. I'm truly sorry for your loss. God bless and be with you all during this time of sorrow.
