Harry W. Folkman was born on April 8, 1953 to Felicia (née Womacks) and Gerald Folkman, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away on March 18, 2011, in Seattle, Washington. He is survived by his daughter, Summer Garcia, her mother, Mahala Pond, and his sister, Katherine Martinez.
