Gregory passed away peacefully after several years struggling with multiple sclerosis. Prior to his illness, he was an avid walker, often traveling 10 or more miles every day through Seattle. He attended Garfield High School in Seattle and was an excellent high school runner and scholar, receiving an academic scholarship from the University of Washington. He was extremely interested in science, mathematics and astronomy.
He is survived by his sister Margaret, his brother Jerry and several nieces and nephews.
