Tae Bang Yu was born on December 1, 1934 in Paju, South Korea to Si-Hwa (née Yi) and Hoo-jin Yu. He passed away on December 11, 2011 in Bellevue, Washington. Tae is survived by his son Ki Yu and daughter Jisun Yu, as well as other loving family members and friends. He will be dearly missed.
