Janice M. von Essen was born on January 27, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Harriet Agnes (née Carpenter) and Francis Sullivan. She passed away in Seattle, Washington on September 9, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband, William von Essen, her daughters Cindy von Essen and Lynn Williams, as well as many other loving family and friends.
