William Richard Hibbets was born April 24, 1954. William is the son of Dorothea Roberts Hibbets and the late Willard Arlen Hibbets of Chesterton. William is survived by his sister Margaurite Hibbets, Memphis,Tennessee; Matthew Hibbets, Monticello, Indiana; his aunt Rita Kloske, Gautier, Mississippi. He is also survived by many nephews.
William served in Vietnam and loved music. He played the trumpet and harmonica. He passed away September 13, 2011.
I was a childhood friend of Bill growing up in Valporaiso. We had fun together, I looked upon him as a big brother. He went off to Vietnam and when he came back, he wasn’t the same.
Our friendship grew apart as we both changed. I never heard from him again until I learnef he passed away. God Bless you Bill. Damon
