My sweet grandpa (or Big papa as my kids called you) Im still having trouble swallowing the fact that youre not with us anymore. I know youre not hurting and are in a much better place now. I will always remember going to yard sales, the smell of your instant coffee, the way you smelled after you shaved, gingerbread cookies and always the way you took a
stand for those of us who had no voice!! You were and always will be my hero!! I love you so much and am honored to be your first grandkid!! Forever your Sunshine girl...Rest with the angels grandpa <3

Uncle Harold, you always made me laugh. When you came to Minnesota to visit or when we talked on the phone, I always enjoyed our times together.
I will miss your stories but I will smile when I think of you. Love you forever!

Smitty was an awesome part of my childhood. I often reflect on all the afternoons after first grade when he would pick me up from the bus stop and drive us back to his house where we would watch our favorite shows, drink crystal light, and play catch with Taz, Bandit, and Scooter. Rest in Peace Smitty. You were the coolest old guy I've ever met.

Smitty...you will always and forever live on in my heart. You were such a special man, one that puts a huge smile on my face. I am so grateful that you came into our lives and glad that my daughter had the privalege of growing up with you. Even though you let her watch Jerry Springer. LOL. It's time for you to rest my friend and go on your next journey. I will love you forever. Nancy
