He was 18 when I was born, and what I remember the most as a child growing up was laughter, music (always music) and adults which whom I always felt safe around. My dad loved his friends, and he always had good friends over the years. I recently asked my mother to tell me what she could remember from those days in the 70's. Her reply was 'We were young, happy and always had an open door policy". This meant, that friends were always welcome. He was a good dad. I'd anxiously wait for him to come home from work and he'd always take time to spend with me. He was my hero as a child growing up. T he sound of him playing guitar and singing still resonates in my memory as one that will forever stay closest to my heart. He's responsible for the Beatles being my favorite band of all time. He loved his Mom and Dad and was closest with his brother David. All which whom he has recently reunited with up above. There are many stories I'd like to tell you of my father, however would like to keep this simple. I was his only child for 10 years. Then Tyler came followed by Haley and the rest of my dear sisters, Brianna, Elizabeth and Reilien, who I know dad loved and is very proud of. I want you all to join in the celebration of Larry Stone's life. A man whom some wondered what made him tick. A man who had a gift when it came to people. A man who valued friendship and good times. A man who'd open his door to anybody he saw his friend. A man who dedicated his life to laughter. This was a quality his father and brother David possessed as well. If your reading this, I think it's important to know that although it may be sad that he's gone, he would want you to celebrate and enjoy yourself in his name and in his honor. That is the way he has always been....

Quick to smile, easy to laugh with, making friends fast, and making fast friends. These are the memories I will keep.
Larry Stone left a piece of himself with anyone who met him, and anyone that knew him loved him. Impossible to forget, he is sorely missed by many.
This is his legacy.
On the wings of angels he smiles on us still.
You are now an angel on their shoulders, keep them save.
I knew Larry in the early 70's when he was married to Terry Etienne. I was his brother in law at that time. There are allot of memories that we shared with each other as friends and also being married into the same family. We used to play music endlessly into the night. Him singing on his guitar and myself playing the banjo. Those were some times that I will never forget. He loved playing the Beatles and all the oldies. He was good! I remember once that my daughter Tara and Danny (his oldest) were dancing to some music that we were playing. Very cool. I tried on a couple of occasions to get in touch in the past with Larry. I wish I could have. He was a very cool guy and tons of fun to be with. He will be missed by many. My heartfelt feelings go out to his children and all the people that were close to him. I will always remember the good times that we had together.....
We had the privilege of knowing Larry for only a few enjoyable years. He was one of a kind with a subtle sense of humor, loved music and had a great love for his friends and our Aerie. His presence always made the club better. He is greatly missed but definitely not forgotten!!
