I can't believe my dear friend is gone. I wish I had known. Even though we haven't seen each other in quite some time, I will always count her as one of my very dearest friends and such a huge part of my life. Peace Lisa and love to all of you.

Gosh I am only writing because I am so far away, if we were stateside we would join you all to celebrate Lisa's life. What a radiance she always had which of course was her magnetism. She loved so much, and drew love back unto herself. How lucky you all were to be her husband, her sons, her parents. How lucky we were to be her friends, to bask in her warmth, her wit, her special view on life. I too salute big time her great courage through the years of her illness; and within it all she was so often able to find some brightness and cheer. Lisa definitely fought the good fight.
Lance will write something himself later after his writing hand works again post stroke.

Lisa is a saint and rests in a special place in heaven, this gentle, warm, caring teacher, friend, mother, wife, who reached out to change students lives and brighten our days with her laugh, subtle humor, astute observation, wisecrack or lifted brow. We will love and miss you forever. "Babalam Kivalam" as Lisa used to say.

Lisa Everitt was one of the biggest influences in my life. Her love for the simple things in life, her devotion to her family, friends and career, and her ability to always remain true to herself are just a few things that were amazing about her. Anyone who had the pleasure of being around her is forever changed. i will miss her terribly.

Lisa was a great member of the team of fellow teacher librarians in the school district. She always seemed so calm and unruffable and had great ideas to share. She will be greatly missed!

I was so sorry to hear about Lisa. Her light will always be with those who love her. I was priviledged to know her through book group and will always remember her. Blessings to all your family.

Our FHDC family has lost a great friend. Lisa was one of a kind, in the best of ways! Her personality exuded her warmth and her smile, laugh and sense of humor touched everyone. Lisa, I know you can feel all of us sending our love to you and your family. You were my true "Earth Mother" as you shared Trevor with me as his teacher. I was so thrilled when our daughter, Crissy, went through Pacific Oaks together and I know you were treasured by all the little munchkins you enveloped with smiles, hugs, and caring smiles. You were a treasure to all of us and as I continue to teach you are my role model for quiet joy and enthusiasm.

I taught both the boys at Juanita Elementary and Lisa was one of those fabulous and supportive parents always willing to help. I so appreciated the Everitt family. I can still see her smile and hear her wonderful laugh. May your memories bring you comfort.

All of my memories of Lisa were happy, fun, entertaining and special. Amongh the best of friends and most wonderful people that I have ever known, she will always be in my heart and our hearts (my family). Her spirit is one that will live on and I know that she is at peace and am sad she had to leave us, yet comforted to know that she is suffering no longer.

Doug and I only knew Lisa through her wonderful son, Keaton. What a wonderful young man who is filled with love and tenderness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Beautiful pictures and summary of a most beautiful person- I look forward to seeing all of you soon.

I will always remember my time of working with Lisa at Thoreau. Coming to the library each and everyday was always the highlight of my day. I looked forward to listening to her read to the kids, she was such a great storyteller/reader. I loved sharing stories back and forth about our lives and our families. She loved sharing stories about her grandkids. We had fun re-arranging the library, watching the 'flying cow', sharing our love/hate for the LOST TV show and our starbucks Fridays. It was so much fun to watch her eyes light up when she'd come back from a 'book' shopping spree and to see what exciting books she found for the kids. It was one of her favorite parts of her job.
I will miss her smile, her laugh, our every visit together. I count it such a privilege to have been given the opportunity to work along side Lisa. It ended far too quickly but I'm glad for the memories. I will always cherish her friendship.

We am very saddened to learn of Lisa's passing. Bob, Katie and I have very fond memories of the San Diego basketball trip and how gracious and engaging she was. What a super lady!

There are no words to describe the feeling of losing a friend like Lisa. Your smile was as warm as the sun and your loving peaceful nature embraced us all. Our deepest sympathy to Bob, Keaton, Trevor, Mari, Max and Shilo.

We don't even know where to begin. We were so blessed to have Keaton come to North Adams and be able to meet his wonderful parents. Lisa and her tofurkey brings tears of laughter to my eyes.
