Jason Todd Tomlinson was Born 7/27/74 in Bellevue WA and passed away 6/8/12 in Renton WA. Jason grew up and was part of the North Bend community most of his life. After high school he went crabbing in Alaska and had the scars to prove it. He started a family and had daughter LeeAnna and son Christian Tomlinson of North Bend. He drove garbage truck until his step-dad Buddy introduced him to what became his passion and career being a union carpenter. Jason's signature can be found on the back of the Seahawks score board. Something he was very proud of building. He was an amazing carpenter so just look around the Seattle-Bellevue area and you will see his work. St. Patricks Day weekend 2007 Jason met the love of his life. They drove w/ the top down on her little VW Cabrio listening to New Found Glory rock "Glory of Love"...as an official Karate kid Jason proclaimed it thier song. The blond w/ the Cabrio promised Jason she would always be his if he gave her a baby. Thier little Miracle Caelan Alexander Eric Tomlinson was born May 24-08. Jason was a proud dad and just like the blond little CT stole his heart. Jason and Darcy's (the blond) life together took them many places spending his last 3yrs in Spokane. Oct 31st 2011 thier love story took a sad turn. Darcy's aunt informed her that Jason was yellowish. By Dec 23rd 2011 it was confirmed that Jason had stage 4 colon cancer. Jason decided to confirm his commitment to Darcy and Caelan so on Jan 11,2012 they were married. Jason continued to fight his diagnosis as Darcy fought for him and cried at his bedside durnig the 15 days he was hospitalized. In March the Tomlinson family moved back to Renton. Jason will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, and Husband. In the end Darcy would say Caelan is her gift from her husband cause they did it all for the "Glory of Love". There will be no memorial service as Jason's ashes will one day be placed at the top of Mt. Si so that he can look down upon everyone. If you would like to contact the family send cards or condolences to Casacade Memorial in Bellevue and Sarah will forward to the family.
