Karen Dianne Robinson, age 58, passed on June 20, 2012 in Seattle, Washington after a brief illness. Karen was born on July 21, 1953, to Wayne and Penny Robinson. Karen lived in Highland Flats, Idaho during her childhood years. After graduating Naples Elementary and Bonners Ferry high school, Karen moved to Spokane and attended Kelsey-Baird Secretarial School. Karen then returned to Bonners Ferry and worked at the Sheriff's office as a dispatcher. After five years, Karen moved to Spokane and did social work for a short while. Following her heart to Denver in 1982, Karen began working at the first of many law firms. After less than two years in Denver, Karen returned to the Northwest, moving to Seattle, where she lived until her passing. While in Seattle, Karen worked for numerous law firms as a paralegal, ending her career as a very valued employee at Bendich, Stobaugh & Strong. Although committed to her career, she also dedicated her life to many of her other passions. Karen touched numerous lives through her volunteer work at the Crisis Clinic and at St. Mark's cathedral. Karen was a wonderful quilter, and loved crafting beautiful designs for her family. Karen was also dedicated to her pets, and was proud to be owned by several kitties during her life. Karen is preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Karen is survived by her two brothers, Ken (Charlotte) Robinson and Duane Robinson, as well as two nieces Susan Robinson (Dennis Budd) and JuliAnn (Dustin) Issler and a nephew Nick (Kellie) Robinson, and beloved great-nephews and nieces: Etta and Oliver Budd; Lucas and Austin Issler and Layna, Kate and Eli Robinson. Karen is also survived by many dear friends including Lynette, Paul and their daughter Maddie; Greg Brady, Cher and Bonnie.
