Frank Steel McDermid, 76 from Tustin, CA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2012, in Redmond, WA, from glioblastoma. He was originally diagnosed in June 2011 and suffered a relapse in April 2012. Frank was born on December 7, 1935, in Pasadena, CA, to John and Thelma McDermid and is survived by his wife, Lisa McDermid, son & daughter-in-law (Scott & Angela McDermid), daughters and spouses (Wendy & Deryk Rawalt, Erin & Mike Ramirez, Elizabeth & Rick Butenko), granddaughters (Ashley McDermid and Abigail Rose Ramirez), and brother (Matt McDermid). Frank graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Pepperdine University, served in the U. S. Frank was highly regarded as a manager and considered a "legacy" in the field of Property Management. His business ethic, dedication, and commitment were unyielding, widely recognized, and leveraged to mentor others in the advancement within the property management organization. His work was his passion, and he found a tremendous amount of fulfillment serving numerous positions, locally and nationwide, within aerospace companies and the National Property Management Association (NPMA), eventually advancing to NPMA National Chairman/Consulting Fellow. Frank was highly respected by his peers and those that knew him enjoyed his smile, great sense of humor and ability to have fun on the job. He enjoyed life, loved to talk about his family and always wanted to make people happy the best way he knew how. His final hours were spent surrounded by the love and heartfelt embrace of his family. We will treasure his memory and forever hold him close to our hearts. God Bless our beloved Frank.
