He is survived by his mother, Patricia K. Mikel, brother, Arthur J. Mikel, big sister, Rosemary S. Mikel (brother Daniel N. Morin), younger sister Catherine M. Mikel, two nephews John and Randy, as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends from all around. He was loved so dearly and will be sorely missed.
Joey, it's so hard to beleive that you're acutally gone. I know I haven't talked you in 4 years, I wish I would've tried to contact you, or stay in contact with you. Its difficult for me to think that now I have no chance of ever talking to you again. You were an awesome guy and an amazing friend!! I have so many good memories of you and I will never forget them. Love ya Joey!!

My sweet baby brother, I can't begin to tell you how much I am hurting over the loss of you. From the second you were born you were so important to me, and the bond we shared was such a special one, my heart is broken and I don't know that it will ever feel whole again. I do hope though, and I'm trying to believe, that you are no longer in pain. That you are in peace, and that you are still with us, at least in spirit. I love you so very much, baby.
