Patricia Lea McGough was born in Seattle, Washington May 23rd, 1933. A Ballard High School Graduate, Wife, Mother, Small business owner and Grandmother. She passed on to her Lord and Savior September 20th, 2012 of natural causes at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her Mother Betty Cummings, Brother James Harrigan and Sister Betty Brooks. She is survived by her two children Patrick McGough (Nancy) and Shelly Bucklin children of Jim McGough, and Grandchildren Katie McGough, John McGough, Chelsea Bucklin and Russ Bucklin. Patricia had a full life enjoying friends and family and the outdoors through hiking, camping and sightseeing. One of her great pleasures was taking her grandchildren to high tea once a year where they enjoyed one another's company and the sweets. She was a great cook and baker with many of her Norwegian heritage recipes always available during the holidays. Her free spirit showed in her love of dancing, singing and laughing. She will be remembered for her generosity and endless devotion to others wellbeing.
I befriended Patricia many years ago at the Edgwater Apartments and our friendship lasted ever since. Though our ages differed, Patricia showed me how to be young no matter what age you were and live a positive spirutual life. She was a joy to be around and I will miss her greatly. My condolences to her family.
So sorry for your loss. Mom always enjoy Pat as a neighbor and I enjoyed visiting with her also. My sister, Andrea, and I were in Winslow 2 weeks ago and I remembered her shop was there. Andrea did not know your family, but wonderful memories will be with me always. She was so kind.
