Philis Khakuya Coulbert was born in Matunda, Kenya on April 4, 1981. She passed away on September 22, 2012 in Kent, Washington. Philis is survived by her mother Florence Lusangale; daughter Char Khakali Coulbert and son Christopher Charles Coulbert, sisters Faith Iminza, Mercyline Coulbert, and Nellie Olubai, brothers Samwell Olubai, Richard Shikhali, and Derick Ali, former husband Doug Coulbert, and so many family members and friends. Philis will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
