James H. Ward, age 81, passed away on November 1, 2012 at his home in Bellevue, Washington after battling lung cancer for nine months. Jim was born on June 3, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska to Olive (Schell) and Harold Francis Ward. He was raised and educated in Omaha. He served four years in the Korean War and graduated from Creighton University. He later moved to the Seattle area, where he raised his family.
He is survived by his children, Susan Ward, Sheila Ward, Shannon Ward, and Steve Ward; grandchildren Trevor Ward, Oscar Dominguez and Felix Mako; his brother Jerry Ward and sister MaryAnn Clark, and many other family members and friends. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pat Williamson.
Jim, You were a great neighbor and friend in Bellevue. Thankyou for so many fun get together times for our families. Steven,Susan,Shannon,Sheila and your families I am so sorry for your loss. Love to you all. Ann Moody.
