Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, child of God
Age 87, Shoreline, Washington, passed away peacefully with daughters by her side.
Ruth was born November 06, 1925 to Reverend Theodore Edward and Theodora Augusta Hinck in Burns, Wyoming. Ruth spent most of her childhood in DeWitt, Iowa until she graduated and headed to college in Cedar Falls. Due to a shortage of teachers, Ruth was recruited to teach at a parochial school in Wilton Junction where she met Robert Carl Stoll. Ruth and Robert were married on June 30, 1946 and the first 12 years of marriage were spent in Wilton working a farm. In 1958, Ruth, Robert and their four children moved to Seattle. Robert spent the majority of his career working for Boeing while Ruth focused on raising the children. Three more children were born in Seattle.
Ruth was active both in the church and the community serving on various committees, singing in the choir and in later years as a hospice volunteer.
Ruth loved her family, her community and also flowers. Ruth loved to see things flourish. Generous in heart and spirit, Ruth opened her life and home to others. She will be dearly missed, especially by "Bob", her devoted husband of 66 years. Ruth will live on in the hearts of her children, Mark Stoll of Enumclaw, WA, Adrienne Sharick of Burlington, WA, Greg Stoll (Diane Stoll) of Desert Air, WA, Heidi Greider (Hallack Greider) of Shoreline, WA, Gail Del Rio (Armando Del Rio) of San Jose, CA, John Stoll (Alesandra Stoll) of Wenatchee, WA, sister, Vicki Nauss, brothers, Paul, Joel and John Hinck, many grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
