Beloved sister Carolyn Watchie moved on to her next assignment on December 7, 2012, after valiantly fighting cancer. Born on September 19, 1950, Carolyn grew up in Bellevue and later lived in Orlando, FL, Los Angeles, Brigantine, NJ, and finally Kirkland, WA. Known for her quick wit, radiant smile, and positive spirit, Carolyn was always the life of the party, which happened whenever or wherever she was. She cherished her family, especially spending this past summer on the boat with all her sisters and sharing meals at weekly family gatherings since then. She had us laughing to the very end! Working her entire life in real estate and property management, she really valued her most recent job at CDC/Management Trust in Kirkland and appreciated the love and support from her co-workers. She particularly enjoyed professional sports fishing up and down the east coast, especially winning tournaments and prize money. She found spiritual contentment through Ernest Holmes and the joyful teachings of Science of Mind. Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother Sheila, and father Dick. She is survived by her sisters, Joanne, Nancy, and Monica, her brothers, Michael and Craig, her nephew, Tony Raubitschek, and Mojo and Squish. The family will be holding a celebration of Carolyn's life at brother Craig and his partner Hugh's home, 11909 SE 75th Pl, Newcastle, WA 98056, on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
