47-year Des Moines, Washington resident...

Age 92, Mercer Island, Washington, passed away peacefully February 8, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Kathleen Lillian Miller was born September 15, 1920, to George and Eliza Miller in Seattle, Washington.
She was raised and educated in what is now Burien, where she graduated from Highline High School in 1938. She married Daniel Gibson on July 5, 1947 in San Diego, California. They eventually settled in south Seattle (South Park, White Center, then Des Moines in 1962) where they both worked many years for The Boeing Company.

Kitty worked as an expeditor during her years at Boeing. She loved attending locally produced musicals and Broadway stage shows at the Highline Performing Arts Center. She also enjoyed walking, and scenic trips to the ocean or mountains.

Kitty will forever be in the hearts of her children, Douglas Gibson of Burien, WA, and Dale Gibson of SeaTac, WA; her six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dan, and all six of her brothers and sisters.
