James Yoshito Higashi was born on November 22, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan, to Noriko (Uchida) and Riyosaku Higashi. He passed away on October 12, 2013 in Kirkland, Washington. He is survived by his loving wife Julia Hungerford, as well as many other family members and friends. He will be dearly missed.
