Helen Jeanne Clayburn was born December 28, 1918 in St. Maries, Idaho to Lillian Ruth (O'Keefe) and Arnold Andrew Hays. She passed away November 3, 2013 in Maltby, Washington surrounded by her loving family. Helen married the love of her life Gordon F. Clayburn on September 14, 1941 and together they raised three wonderful daughters in Ballard, WA. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Gordon F. Clayburn, her daughter Susan Ann Klegman and son-in-law Kerry Klegman; as well as her siblings Frank, Bea, and Arnell. She was survived by her daughters Joanie Eliasen (Jim Eliasen) of Edmonds WA, Sally-Jo Nardone (Ron Nadone) of Maltby, WA. Grandchildren, Michael (Sara) Zorich, Nicole (Ann) Klegman, Elizabeth Ashley Zorich, Marc (Lori) Clayburn, Jacqueline Clayburn-Nardone, Rick (Nicole) Zorich, and Caramay (Russell) Coleman. As well as great-grandchildren, Devin, Joanie, and Alyssa. Helen also had 4 step-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


Helen and Gordy were married for forty-five years, and with his passing she relocated to the Nardone compound in Maltby, WA were she spent the last 25 years of her life surrounded by nature.


Helen is now dancing among the stars with Gordy, but will always remain in the hearts of those that loved her.
