Terrence (Terry) McGivern was born in Portland, Oregon on June 9, 1959 to John H. and Beth D. McGivern. He passed away at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington on December 11, 2013, with his family by his side.
Terry was a Northwest resident his entire life. He enjoyed music, concerts, fishing, camping, and Seattle sports teams especially the Seattle Supersonics. Terry was preceded in death by his Mother Beth.
He is survived by his Father, John H. McGivern (Dorothy), his Brother, Mike McGivern (Jeannie), his sisters Maureen Horribin, Erin Platts (David), nieces and nephews, Justin, Bridgette, Ian, Bryce,Tanya, Michael, Dylan and Kelly.
The family would like to acknowledge the loving community that embraced him at Transitional Resources in West Seattle where Terry resided the last few years of his life.
Terry had a wonderfully kind heart and will be missed by everyone that knew him
