Jean Kennedy Scott was born in Seattle on October 6, 1915 and died on January 17, 2014. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School where she met her future husband of 60 years, Eugene W. Scott. She attended the University of Washington and was a lifelong football and basketball fan and supporter. Jean was active in the Milk Fund and St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina and was a talented seamstress. After raising four children, she and Gene enjoyed golfing and world travel.She is survived by Sally Maran (Stephen) of Chevy Chase, MD; Stanley Scott of Barcus, France; Molly Peterson (Pete) of Seattle; and Kathy Smith (Jon) of Yarrow Point; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a nephew Richard Hart (Janet). She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister Margaret Kennedy Hart, and grandson Michael Maran.
