Dorothy Ozanne was born October 3, 1921 in Seattle Washington to Karl and Anna Hansen from Norway. She passed away peacefully on January 22, 2014 in Newcastle, WA at the age of 92. Dorothy was married to the love of her life, Bob Ozanne for 67 years before his passing in 2009. She was a long time Seattle resident and also enjoyed the years she and Bob spent living in Maggie Lake and Bremerton. Dorothy enjoyed an active lifestyle for the past 5 years at the Regency at Newcastle, surrounded by family and friends.
Dorothy loved spending time with her family, visiting with friends, listening to music and found joy and happiness in life. She was incredibly positive and when faced with a challenge would always flash her incredible smile and say, "Why not!" Special thanks to the loving caring family of friends and staff at the Regency Newcastle for the incredible way they blessed her life during her 5 years in her home there.
Dorothy will be missed by her family and friends. We will remember her example to live life to the fullest and make the most of every day. When asked what her greatest success was in life was, she answered, "I loved".
