Joseph William Mager, Jr., born July 6, 1947, went to Heaven Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He was a member of Seattle Baptist Church in Edmonds, Washington, where he was a faithful servant. He taught "The Sunshine Class" until mid-2006, when he became too ill. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph William, Sr., and Joanne Grebin Mager, his brothers, James Budd and Matthew Mager. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy; daughter, Mary Mager of Columbus, Ohio; son, Joseph III (Tammy); son Peter (Cassy); daughter Rebecca Mager-Cordle (Andrew) of Atlanta, Georgia; and grandsons Diego and Estevan. He is also survived by a brother, Harry Christopher Mager of Baltimore, Ohio; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Joe proudly served in the United States Navy from March 10, 1966, until his honorable discharge December 9, 1971.
Dad - I miss you so much and was thinking of you today. Hence, I found this site. You are my hero and your grandsons miss you so much. We will see you again soon and the promise that I whispered into your ear the day you passed will be kept!

So glad we were lucky enough to spend Christmas and Bew Years with Mr Mager! I will never forget how excited he was to have all the family together! We felt like we had known him for years! He will be greatly missed. Love the Mager family!!
