Theodore Riggs was born on June 24, 1956 in Stuttgart, Germany and passed on June 12, 2014 in Redmond, Washington. He is survived by his loving family and friends. He will be very dearly missed by all who knew him.

I liked Tedd a lot. We had a lot of fun writing articles and commenting on the news at Newsvine, which is also where I first met him. Nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. I was really bummed to hear he had passed away.

Because he was so adventurous, I thought he was just sailing someplace when I didn't see him for a while. Absolutely shocking to learn he passed away.
Tedd was loved by his many friends, and so many of us are aghast to learn of his passing over a year after it occurred.
Please know that he's missed.
My most heartfelt condolences to the world that is now less a good man. Tedd was a conscientious and compassionate human being. I met him on Newsvine so many years ago where he helped bring attention to social injustice. He will be missed by many. He touched so many. My prayer is that he knows he is missed.
You, Tedd, a wonderful and compassionate man, were a rare bird my friend. Meeting you on Newsvine so many years ago was such a blessing to me that I think it only appropriate to sign off as, "Until next time we collaborate, Digits."
