Marilyn Elizabeth Mowan (March 8, 1952-Sept. 23, 2014) passed away unexpectedly in Everett, WA. Marilyn was born in Seattle, Washington to George and Julie Madsen. As a young child she loved and excelled at ballet. She graduated from Ingraham High School in 1970 and pursued a career in cosmetology. Those who knew Marilyn appreciated her gentle, sweet soul and loving demeanor. Her beautiful smile would warm your heart and her laughter was infectious. Marilyn has now joined her parents George & Julie, brother Peter and nephews Jacob & Jason Madsen in the afterlife. Surviving her are husband: James Mowan; siblings: Leonard Madsen, Jill Hanson, Ken Madsen; children: Andrew Madsen, Anthony Ader, and Alicia Ader-Moore; grand-children: Nicaea, Maggie, and Beorn Madsen, Jordan Ader, Marcus Moore, along with nieces/nephews: Erika, Matt, & Jeff Hanson; Rebecca, Erik & Ben Madsen. Please join the family in celebration of Marilyn's life on Saturday, October 4th at 1:00 pm at Everett First Church of the Nazarene 2502 Lombard Ave, Everett, WA. A reception will follow the memorial service in the church recreation hall.
