Into every family falls some sorrow when a dearly loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother leaves this world. They may be gone but are never forgotten--they are loved forever.
Beverly Anne (Dolan) Dehnert passed away peacefully with family by her side March 22, 2015, in Renton, Washington.
Beverly was born August 4, 1934, in Kent, Washington, to Halla (Rockwell) and Urgelle John Dolan. After holding various jobs and beginning her family, she spent the bulk of her adult life assisting other families in their time of grief, working in the funeral industry at Washington Memorial Park and Sunset Hills Memorial Park.
An avid reader, Beverly could often be found curled up with a good book. She also loved computer games and game shows; she never missed Jeopardy. Although Beverly loved to travel, and spent a lot of time doing so with her sister, Barbara, her children and grandchildren, she always remained rooted in Kent.
Beverly is survived by daughter Janis Dehnert (James Anderson), son Greg Dehnert (Amy), nephews John Dolan and Bill Hoffman, as well 6 grandchildren: Melissa, Jake, Jamie, Leah, Nick, & Jesse and 6 great grandchildren: Alieysia, Ronald, Adelaide, Shepard, Calla, & Atticus.
Beverly was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Dolan, sister-in-law Sally Dolan, sister Barbara Hoffman, brother-in-law Wesley Hoffman, and nephews Ronald Dolan and David Hoffman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Beverly's name to the Salvation Army.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 1:00 pm at the Dehnert residence, 13649 SE 180th St, Renton, WA 98058. Lunch will be served.
