Toni passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Easter Sunday April 5, 2015 at the age of 78. What a holy day to go home to be with her Lord! She was born on November 22, 1936 in Minot, ND to Art and Olive Hathaway. She was an older sister to Doug Hathaway and a graduate of Colville High School. She attended Washington State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Toni married the love of her life, Ray Blier in 1956. They lived in Colville then later moved to Bellevue to raise their family. Toni worked in customer service over the years and enjoyed volunteering with Aglow and Red Hats Society. She loved being a wife and mother to her two sons, Roger and Kevin Blier. Over the years, she enjoyed supporting her boys with their sports and activities. When her sons married, she was blessed with two granddaughters. Finally, she could buy dresses! Again, she thoroughly enjoyed attending the girls' sports and other activities. Grandma was an awesome supporter!
Toni was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, who were undoubtedly there to welcome her to Heaven with open arms. She is survived by her two sons, daughter-in-law Terri, brother and sister-in-law Eileen, and grandchildren Ashley and Lauren who will carry on her legacy of faith, family and determination.
