Gerry was a wonderful man!! He volunteered with Bellevue Police Department for many years while I worked there as an Administrative Assistant. Every morning, 5 days a week, Gerry was there about 6:30 AM. He never failed to stop by my desk and chat before he went about his many duties. Many times he spent a half day at the station doing various tasks. Gerry cared about people, became friends with many of the officers, treated everyone as if they were special to him. He and his friend(s ) would take me to lunch periodically. He was an interesting and knowledgeable person. He was a valuable asset to the Police Department for all the volunteer work he did. He was a good friend to my husband and I. Gerry will be missed by many.
