Virginia Avis Lawson (Sprague)
Born in Walton New York -September 26, 1924
Died in Kirkland WA - December 29, 2015
Virginia Avis Lawson died at the age of 91 with her grandson Michael and daughter Virginia by her side.
Virginia led a life full of compassion. She loved children. She had six of her own as well as being a special needs teacher with the Seattle school district. She was a strong women, a wonderful friend, mother and grandmother.
Although her body is no more, her spirit and her love will forever be a part of each of us. Each one of us carries an unwavering love for our mother, grandmother and friend. Our memories will never fade. She will forever be remembered for her genuine smile, leadership, love.
Virginia is survived by her children Mathew L. Lawson age 56, her daughter Virginia G. Lawson 54, her two grandchildren Gregory Lawson and Michael Lawson and her four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Eastside Foursquare Church, fireside room.

Aunt Virginia was always very special to me . Before I could walk , talk or even crawl,I remember her praticing with her acordian in the liveing room of my Grandmother Peggy's house where we lived on Brook Avenue in West Seattle. It must have been in 1947-8 and she would always sing me a song. I remember the day she realised that that i was listening ! She had a heart of gold .
