Cynthia Ann Parker was born on July 20, 1942 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on June 23, 2016 in Auburn, Washington. Born to parents, Allan Curtis Parker and Edith Elizabeth (Terry) Parker. At about 4 years old she was baptized by Pastor Velasco at El Monte Presbyterian Church. She grew up in the West Seattle area and attended Lafayette Elementary school, James Madison Jr High, West Seattle High School and then Highline Community College.
Her first job was for the United Pacific Insurance Company where she worked until she was married and had her first child after which she spend some time as a stay at home mom. She moved to Bothell in 1968 and took several jobs while her children were in school. She worked for Safeway, for an Architect, and was a School bus driver. After her divorce she moved to Spokane for a few years and began working with the People to People programs. She moved back to Western Washington and worked for Kemper Insurance, B of A and then later the Muckleshoot Casino. She worked at the Casino until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her Brothers; Allen Curtis Parker, Jr. and Brian Ralph Parker.
She is survived by her loving children; James Edward Brewer, Jr. and Pauline Elizabeth (Brewer) Johnson. Her loving grandchildren; Bree, Colin, Brandie, Nikki, Daryl and Parker. And her loving great grandchildren; Brookyn, Braeden, Deryk, Dezeree, Cooper, Jaelyn, Halie, Jordan, Elisa and Isabelle.
Throughout her life she belonged to Job's Daughters, Eastern Star, Girl Scouts of America and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Memorial service will be held on August 13, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 410 H Street NE, Auburn, WA 98002 at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory made be made to World Vision, American Cancer Society & SPCA of King County.
