Gerald L. Anderson (Jerry), of Redmond, WA died in his home on February 2, 2018. He was 76 years old.

Jerry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lauren Anderson of Issaquah, WA; and his nephew Ryan Anderson, his wife Tanya, and their son Cameron, of Snoqualmie, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Elsie Anderson of Mercer Island, WA, and his life-long partner Gay Davey, of Redmond, WA.

Jerry was born on August 1, 1941 in Seattle WA to Don and Elsie Anderson. Jerry graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1959 and then attended the University of Washington where he earned his bachelor degree in business, in 1963.

In 1965, Jerry took a job at the Boeing company where he worked in procurement for 35 years retiring in 2000 at the age of 59. Shortly after starting to work at Boeing Jerry returned to the University of Washington and earned his master's degree in business.

Throughout his retirement years, Jerry and his partner Gay traveled the world visiting her home country New Zealand several times as well as seeing much of Europe and Asia. Jerry also loved "playing" in the stock market and spent his idle hours researching and analyzing trends and opportunities. Jerry loved playing golf, watching sports, a cold beer and spending time with his dog, Miko. But most of all,he loved to be around his family and friends. He was and always will be loved by his family and forever missed.

Jerry passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home from natural causes.

At his request, there will be no memorial service. The family will hold a private celebration of life.
