Anne Fournier passed peacefully in her sleep March 17, 2018, in Bothell WA at age 89.

Anne Vitkay Beatty Fournier was born in Hranovnica Slovakia, to Paul and Mary Vitkay, before the family immigrated to Canada to settle in North Surrey BC.

Anne spent most of her professional life as a bookkeeper and after retiring in Blaine, she volunteered at the Blaine visitor center and food bank.

She was an active member of her community and a loving mother and grandmother.

Anne was preceded in death by her sister Marie White, brothers Milan and Joseph Vitkay, and son Ronald Beatty of Surrey BC.

She is survived by her daughters Terry Beatty Thomas (Russel) of Kirkland WA, Sherry Fournier Thompson (Brian) of Brier WA and granddaughter Alexandra Thomas of Tokyo Japan.

Per Anne's request there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate a donation in Anne's memory be made to your local food bank.
