Donald was called home on May 28, 2018 after a long illness. He had worked as a medic in the United State Air Force, before becoming a mechanic for Boeing and United Airline. He retired from United Airlines where he worked as airplane mechanic and then moved to ground mechanic. He enjoyed traveling all over the USA , England, and Germany. He lived for his family (family was everything). His next big love was his cat, Fatty. People would like him the moment they laid eyes on him. He was a very friendly guy/ He did not go anywhere without making friends. The many places he lived was Washington state, California, Colorado, Arizona, and Ohio (born).
He liked to ride motorcycles, and rive just about anything he can. Loved history, world, USA, and family history. One of his favorite things was waking up on Saturday morning his kids jumping in bed with him and laying there watching Looney Toon. He like to go for drive with his family (day trips). His wife of 23 year Sherlene (Brooks) Danford while one night enjoying his friend and dancing, drinking at the USO he met, fell in love, married and had three kids. They did divorce but remain friend thru out his life with Sherlene.
His wife of 33 year Carold Dandford saw an opportunity, she had fallen in love with him when she was twelve year old, but life separated them, but just a few year later they met again and fell in love and married. Both women love him until he was call home.
He was born to Ronald Albert Danfrod (1911-1983) and Alive Ada Burden (1915-1987). He was proceed in death by an older brother Francis Louise Danford (1936-2007), younger brother Daniel Lee Danford (1945-1966), sister Debra S Danford (1952-2018). Nephew Andrew John Danford (1966-2015). Survive by Brothers Johnny (Toledo, OH), Mark (Grand Junction, CO) Danford, Sister Phyllis Growl (Fremont, OH) Children Brian (Terry) (Pocatella, ID) Lori (Auburn, WA) Danford and Julie (Dennis) Hoober (Auburn, WA) Stepsons Tony (Rola) and Allen DeGeorge both of Denver CO. Grandchildren Morgan (Maggie), Thomas (Calleen) Danford, Micheal Gardner, Daackey Hoober, Colleen (Jason) Condi. Great-grand children Katelyn Condi, Madison, Melanie Danford. He had a number of Niece and Nephew Roland Danford, Terry Growl, Danckia Hoffert, Jason Danford, David Growl, Dale Danford, Johnny Danford, Addie Danford, Jennifer Danford, Tina Mertz, Dawn Gordon, Michael, Christopher and Jeff Brooks, Christine Asevedo, Shauna and Timothy Douglas, and possibly more I have forget. His favorite nickname was Uncle Duck give to him by niece, nephews and grandchildren.
