Stanley Russell Scales Sr was born on November 28th 1949 in Clovis NM as the first child of George and Dorothy Scales. He often spoke of the fond memories he had helping out on his family's farm and the love he had for his mother and sisters. As a young man, he made the ultimate sacrifice and enlisted into the military. There he served a few years in the US Army, 14 years in the US Navy, fighting in the Vietnam War. While stationed in the Philippines he met his wife, Aily. After moving around for years, they settled down in Seattle, WA with their 5 young kids and began a career with Boeing in 1990. Stanley faced many trials throughout his years but always remained the soft spoken and kind hearted man we loved.
He enjoyed nature, animals, and spending time with his grandkids. He was courageous and fought a long fight against his health issues, even till his last breath he was determined he could turn his health around. He surrender his fight on July 10th 2018 peacefully at home where he loved to be. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy and Aily. He leaves behind his siblings Tammie Beidelman, Danny Scales, Pamela Barns, Robert Scales, Michael Scales, and Marcella Admire, his children; Stanley Jr (Jessica) George (Theresa) Denise (Shawn) Jennifer (Tyree) Timothy (Kristy) his grandchildren; Angel, Aily, Bryson, Cameron, Cash, Marissa, Reuben, Ruby, Roxy, and Romeo.
