Christine R Kimber age 77 passed away on 7/21/2019 in GenCare Memory care in Federal Way , Wa after losing her battle with Alzheimer's.She was born in Portland, Oregon to Ronald and Merriem Miller .She graduated from Franklin High School in Portland and eventually began a lifetime career with GTE in the telecommunications field .
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Kimber in August 2016 they were blessed with 39 years of marriage .She is survived by her daughter , Shannon Reichard or Auburn , Wa and Her son Ronald Lamb Of Gresham , Oregon as well as 2 Stepsons Richard and Gary Kimber who reside in Oregon, 12 grandchildren and a few great grandchildren.
Christine worked for GTE along side Tom and retired in her late 50's where her and Tom enjoyed a wonderful retirement life moving to Las Vegas , Nevada where the had many wonderful friends and worked at the MGM Grand Event Center post retirement until 2014 .She was an active Sun City Member and a part of a Large Tap Dancing group along with Tom .They enjoyed years of travel both abroad and to see family post retirement and spent a lot of time in Hawaii.
She will be dearly missed by all that know and love her .
There will be no service but her Daughter will be returning her to be aside Tom at the Va Cemetery in Las Vegas , Nevada in the near future.
