Our beloved mother, Delores Madland Marhula, 92, passed away at her home on 8/28/20 with her children by her side. Born in Minneapolis, Delores lived her last 40 years in Bellevue, WA. She was a fiercely independent, one-of-a kind creative and generous person who had unique, endearing ways about her. She loved to do her daily crossword puzzles and feed the squirrels and birds that visited her balcony. Delores was a frequent visitor to Crossroads and Fred Meyer on 148th. She enjoyed having her coffee at Crossroads and felt a sense of community there. She is survived by her 4 children Dan (Judy), Chris, Mary (Ardeshir), Joni, and by 6 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Eleanor, her sister Gloria Schmidt (from Redmond), and her X-husband Stan, whom she remained friends with. Delores is deeply missed.
I miss my Mom! The photo is of her in her favorite chair where she spent a lot of time on crossword puzzles and enjoying her view from her balcony.
Momma, I miss you more than you know. May you be in peace with Daddy, Gloria, and your mom and dad (and Shirley, too). I love you so much, Chrissy
