How Did We Do?

Minnie Jo Beauchamp was born in Lockhart, Texas, to Norman M. McClain (deceased 1934) and Alma Ree Franks-McClain-Roberts (deceased 1990) on January 5, 1934. She was the youngest of four McClain daughters; Norma Jean (deceased1939), Burnic Gwyn Overall (deceased 1997), Lena Lee Pinchback (deceased 2016).

Love ones whom preceded her in home going include, her husband, Walter Beauchamp, Sr., (deceased 1999) and son, Robert Flamingo "Mingo" Beauchamp (deceased 1996) and step-father, Arnold L. Roberts Jr.

Minnie Jo attended school in Lockhart and Fort Worth, Texas. In 1948 she and her parents moved to Yakima, WA and completed her education there.

While in Yakima, 1949 she married her life partner Walter Beauchamp Sr. In 1955 they moved to Seattle, WA. Minnie and Walter were married 49 years and to this union were born their daughter and four sons.

Minnie Jo had the luxury of being a homemaker until her demise. Her J-O-B was attending the European Health Spa / 24 Hour Fitness faithfully from 1971 to 2010. She was an avid swimmer and enjoyed swimming 4 to 6 days a week. Minnie and Walt enjoyed dancing; they took delight in having family barbecues and holiday dinners with family and friends.

In Loving Memory of those Minnie Jo cherished were her children; Norman Lee, Robert "Mingo", Henry Leo (Edita), Walter Jr (Heather) and Paulette Beauchamp. Daughter-in-laws; Angie, Edita, Nina, Roberta and son-in-law; Steven Ticeson. Six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Plus nieces, nephews, relatives, special friends and acquaintances to numerous to mention.

To Those I Love and Those Who Loved Me

I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to do and see.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave You My Love, You can only guess
How much You gave me in Happiness.
I Thank You for the Love - You each have shown,
But now I travel on alone.

So grieve awhile, if grieving You must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for awhile that we must part.
So Bless the Memories within your Heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.

Though You can't see or touch me, I'll be near.
And if you listen with your Heart,
You'll hear all My Love around You soft and clear.

And then, when You must come this way alone,
I'll Greet You With A Smile And Say; Welcome Home!!!

Family of Z.T. Williams, Jr.
