Olive Kilbourne was 84 years young when she passed on February 27, 2021; a life shortened by Covid 19.
Her life started in 1936 at a hospital in Arlington, Washington to parents Anders and Rena Danner. Growing up in Snohomish, Washington along with her siblings Edward Danner, Helen Hilmo and John Danner.
She graduated from Snohomish High School in 1954 and Married Gary Kilbourne shortly after graduation. They met picking strawberries when Gary slipped and fell in front of her, the beginning of their relationship.
They divorced in the early 1980's after 37 years of marriage. They had two children, Shawn Kilbourne and Shannon Kilbourne.
She lived a happy and very full life having joined Gary in the Philippines while he served in the Korean War. Later on she worked for Safeco Life Insurance.
She was a strong and passionate woman who when she put her mind to it could and would accomplish anything!
She leaves behind children, nieces, nephews, brothers, sister(s), friends, and two grandchildren; Alyssa and Jonathan Rippon whom she was extremely proud of.
We will miss her loving and kind ways, her sense of humor and most important...her LOVE!
Rest In Peace mom!
Until it is time to see each other again......
