How Did We Do?

Beverly passed away peacefully, with her husband Richard by her side at the Evergreen Hospital Hospice facility in Kirkland, WA. She had been battling liver disease for the past six months, and is now free of her pain and suffering.

Beverly and Richard were married in 1975 in East Detroit, Michigan, and had lived in Portland, OR before residing in the Kirkland, WA area in 1978.

She leaves her Mother Mary Madej (96 yrs.) Sons Erik (Kelsey and Poppy 1yrs.) Jason (Natalie and Hunter 10mo.) along with her cousins Deborah Dunlap, and family of Traverse City, Michigan, Douglas Chase, and family, and her Aunt Alderia Chase, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Beverly, as an organ and tissue donor had asked if recipients were in need, to donate to others. The Seattle SightLife has graciously agreed to her wishes.

She was a loving companion, wife, mother, and a thrilled grandmother. A friend to everyone she worked with and who knew her over her forty year career. She will be greatly missed by all.

Any remembrances would be greatly appreciated for the Evergreen Hospital Hospice facility of Kirkland, WA in her name.

So very sorry to hear about Bev. We met back in 5th or 6th grade on a youth bowling league and remained friends through high school. My deepest condolences and I also send love to you and her mother , Mary.

Dear Dick and family, I was so sad when I heard about Bev's passing. We worked together at Roffe and we became good friends. After we both left there she would call me around the beginning of December, for quite a few years, to let me know it was time for Johnny Mathis Christmas songs as we both loved him. We also lost our Dad's around the same time so we shared our sadness. The world has lost a beautiful woman but Beverly is now healthy and happy in Heaven and I know I'll see her again. Love to Dick and the boys, Barb.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Bev. I worked with her at Rolfe for many years she was kind, helpful, and a professional person with a beautiful smile. I was lucky that I had the opportunity to have met her. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts go out to Dick, Erik and Jason along with their families.

Bev and I worked together in the early 1990’s at Roffe. Ever you ever need a smile to cheer up your day, you just needed to stop by her desk. Great co-worker and warm loving person.

My heart is broken after hearing of the passing of my dear friend Beverly. We became besties during our almost 20 years together at Roffe Skiwear. We shared a lot of love & laughter during that time. We went on numerous work trips together and met with the customers that we talked with on the phone. All our customers loved Beverly, almost as much as I did. She was always enthusiastic, positive and funny. Those were some of the best years of my life.
Dick, Mary, Erik, Jason & family - I am so, so sorry for your tremendous loss. Heaven has a wonderful new angel now. Love to you all. ❤

I can still picture her smile and hear her laugh. I spent many years sharing a cube wall with Bev. I remember her welcoming me on me 1st day, sharing stories and laughs with her, and the endless praising I would hear from our customers about how great she was to them. I think Bev exemplified the ideal of spreading joy and happiness everywhere she went.

Bev always was friendly and a friend, from the first day we met at work, a bright light even on gray days. I’m truly sad to learn of her passing, and this world, so in need of true spirits like Bev, will miss her. I realize now how much I’m blessed to have known her as a friend. Markus Jucker

The 4th person to leave me here. I am sad to her of her passing. She was a very sweet person. We both loved our spinach. I am so sorry I didn't really get to say good bye during her retirement. But I will have fond memories.

I am deeply saddened and shocked. I have no words to express my condolences😔. I remember her vibrant smile and warm greetings that would always fill my day with joy.
Bev, you will always be remembered as a loving and caring person. I will never forget her kindness. May God give her eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain.

It is hard to believe a sweet, down to earth and always smiling person - Beverly is no longer with us. I know her for the past seven years (working at BioControl System and staying in touch since her retirement) and the only thing comes to my mind is - her warm and welcoming smile every time you talk to her - weather it is related to work or personal information. She was God Mother to my daughter and my daughter was her first unofficial grand child. Its unfortunate to know this sad news on her birthday. May her soul rest in peace. sharing a picture from the day of her retirement. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her Family.

News came into BioControl on Friday that Beverly had passed away. Last week marked the two year anniversary of her retirement after a long and storied career with BioControl. Beverly was a very private person and true to form, it appears that no one in the BioControl sphere knew she was sick. For those of us that worked with her, there is no need to explain how special she was as a person and how important she was to BioControl’s growth over the years. I know that I’ll never look at a garden gnome the same way again. I hope that everyone is able to remember something about her that puts a smile on their face. She certainly had all of us smiling while we worked together.

Sell a swab kit to St. Pete Bev,

Sincerely, Jeff Williams, Operations Manager - BioControl

Beverly and I worked together although in different departments our paths crossed many times during the day. Even though I was younger she always was willing to learn more about me. She was always willing to share everything, from food to work related info. I still remember her candy table and goodies, it was a place where everyone would at least visit once in day and share a few words. She made sure I had at least one candy a day. So sweet! She will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to her family. May her soul rest in peace.
Sincerely, Reshma Joshi (Senior Scientist, Technical Services, MilliporeSigma)
