Please join us at the Tacoma Firefighters Hall, 1109 S. 50th St. Tacoma, Washington 98408, for an open house celebration of life from 1pm -4pm on December 11th, 2021.
Dave and I played High school basketball together, and one year of college Basketball at PLU. We were collage room mates as freshman. The years playing slow-pitch baseball during the summers with many of our high school class mates were some of the most memorable years of team companionship. Dave loved the outdoors. We hunted ducks on the Nisqually flats during the fall seasons. Fished the Deschutes river in the spring. The best of the memories will live on. Al Kollar
I'm thinking about the 22 years Dave served as a fire fighter and the lives he must have saved. Condolences to his immediate family as well as the rest of the family. He had so much love for his daughters, grandkids and all of his son in laws. I will so miss always being able to call him our chats. He was such a kind man, smart, handsome and so very athletic.
miss our mutual phone calls and that he was always there.
WHEN DAVE AND I TALKED FOR THE LAST TIME BEFORE HE PASSED WE AGREED THAT WE HAD A VERY GOOD RUN IN SHARING OUR LIFE OF FRIENDSHIP. DAVE AND I WORKED TOGETHER AS FIREFIREFIGHTERS--PLAYED TEAM SPORTS TOGETHER--TRAVELED TOGETHER--CLOSED MORE THAN A FEW BARS TOGETHER IN OUR YOUNGER DAYS AND ALWAYS KNEW WE COULD COUNT ON EACH OTHER FOR HELP WHEN WE NEEDED IT. I WILL MISS DAVE BUT WITH ALL THE MEMORIES I HAVE OF OUR GOOD TIMES TOGETHER I FEEL VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD HIM AS A CLOSE FRIEND.
