Born 2-9-1941 in Seattle, Washington. Allen attended O'Dea and West Seattle High School. After graduation, he volunteered to join the U.S. Army. During this time, he married the love of his life Sharon May Ryerse. After his military career, he spent his life in transportation as a truck driver. He was known as "Big Al - Truckin Trucker". Al was dedicated to providing for his family and spent most of his time running over Snoqualmie pass. Allen is survived by his wife Sharon, three sons, Michael (Traci), Larry, & John (Jocelyn). Grandchildren, Isabella, Nolan, Colton, Reilly, Daniel, and John Mark. Love you Big Al. You will always be in our hearts.
I’m keeping a candle lit in memory of my brother-in-law Al. A very positive influence he has been for this family of ours, a deep loss is felt. Mixed with gratitude for the Responte sons/grandsons/nephews/cousins/second cousins Al leaves as his legacy, such true gems they are. Love to the family.
