How Did We Do?

Christina Mendivil, age 72, loving mother, grandmother, and adoring wife of John Mendivil passed away on March 18th 2022.

Christina was born April 27, 1949 to mother Tillie Hernandez Olmos, and father Guadalupe Olmos in Linsday, California.
She had 5 sisters and 4 brothers and many many nieces and nephews.

Christina met John in her hometown of Lindsay in 1964 at a dance, they were married April 29th the following year, and welcomed their first of 11 children that December.

She took pride in her ever growing family- her children, Kathy and wife Chris, John and Partner Ben, Mary, Jude and Wife Tammy, Becky and Husband David, Rachel, Manus and Wife Jennifer, Garza, Sarah, Theresa and Husband Jacob, and Christopher and Wife Kaila.

She was the truest definition of Matriarch for her family, 'Grammy' was a part of everything. She looked forward to Sunday dinners and never missed one. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and laughter, and she loved her 28 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren in a way that only a Grammy can.
She will be greatly missed by so many friends and family that loved her dearly.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to The National Kidney Foundation in honor of Christina, as this is
something she cared about deeply.

Memorial service will be held on
Friday April 15th 2022
Milltown sailing association
410 14th St
Everett WA, 98201

Christina, you're missed.
From your husband that is feeling lost without you, to your children and grandchildren.
I am forever grateful that God decided you would be the mother inlaw to my daughter. It was a privilege and my joy to share her with you. You taught her many lessons over the years that were unrecognized at the time, but I'm going to use one word to sum that up. Strength. You taught her strength, you shared yours when she needed it.
I watched you use your strength for your family unwavering over and over again.
Again thank you God for bringing our families together.
You're missed, we love you, our hearts hurt without you.
