Kyong Il Fisher was born in Seoul, South Korea on November 3, 1945, to her beloved parents Yong Son Yim and Sun Hwan Kim. She gracefully departed from this world on April 10, 2024 surrounded by her loving husband at her side in Tacoma, WA.
In 1974, she joined hands in marriage with the love of her life, Calvin, embarking on a journey filled with unwavering love and devotion. As a dedicated military spouse, she stood by her husband's side through every challenge and triumph, creating a home filled with love and strength in various stateside locations and years abroad.
Kyong's legacy lives on through her cherished family. She leaves behind her adoring husband, and their two beloved children, Johnny and Natalie, and devoted daughter-in-law Jennifer. Her life was further enriched by the blessings of three precious grandchildren: Alyssa, Samantha, and Olivia, who brought endless joy and laughter into her life.
Beyond her roles as a loving mother and devoted wife, Kyong was a woman of remarkable determination and intellect. For a decade, she graced the business world with her presence as a successful entrepreneur, earning the admiration and affection of her loyal customers, who fondly referred to her as "momma".
Kyong's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will continue to inspire generations to come.
