She is survived by her 3 children and 2 stepchildren, daughter Tamara Thom and her husband Jeff Thom, son Kevin Stidham, and son Shawn Smith and his wife Bohemia Isis-Smith. Her stepson Ron and wife Crystal Smith, and stepson Marty and wife Darlin Smith.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Leslie V. (Skip) Smith, her stepson Andy Smith, and her great granddaughter Natalie Kay Thom.
Her wish is to be cremated and have her ashes placed in the Pacific Ocean near Greyland, Washington to rejoin her husband Skip, the love of her life. Beach combing along the Washington coast was one of their favorite activities. A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later time.

THE SHIP
I am standing on the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breezes and departs for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until at length she is only a ribbon of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!"
Gone where? Gone from my sight— that is all. She is just as large in mast, and hull, and spar, as she was when she left my side, and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her; and just at the moment when someone at my side says, "There! She's gone," there are other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "There! There she comes!"
And that is what men call dying.
