Daniel J. Farmer, 41, of Everett, Washington passed away June 23, 2024.
Daniel is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret Bess and Paul Everette Farmer, paternal grandparents, Jack and Dee Smith, and uncles, Philip Farmer and Douglas Smith.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Wetona Larue; father Dennis (Susan) Smith, daughters, Alexis Farmer and Mia Farmer; brother, Luke Larue; mother of his older daughter, Lisa Shanklin Ramos; mother of his youngest daughter, Erika Farmer; aunts and uncles, Sally (Bill) Malaney, Paula Rogers, JoLyn (Richard) Spivey, David (Janet) Smith, Jackie Smith, and Rosa Maria Reynoso; cousins Randy Rogers, Mark Iverson, John "JT" Tilelli, Jr., Paul R. W. Fulce, numerous other cousins, and extended family and friends.
Daniel was born on February 14, 1983 in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Old East Dallas. He had many childhood memories of traveling to see aunts and cousins for the summer. As a young adult he moved to Wisconsin, where he welcomed his daughter Alexis. In 2012, Daniel returned to Dallas. He married in 2013, and welcomed his youngest daughter, Mía Rose, in 2016. To Daniel, Alexis and Mia were the apple of his eye. Daniel loved to cheer on his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys, during football season. Daniel was focused on advancing his career in HVAC and had diligently worked with several companies while he worked in the DFW Metroplex. He was very grateful to his Mentor and best friend, Antwan Thompson, for his support and guidance in his career. In the last few years, Daniel had completed numerous certifications allowing him to work in Jobsite Safety and as an OSHA certified trainer in construction compliance.
Beloved son, father, brother, nephew and friend he leaves an indelible mark of love in the hearts of those whom he shared his earthly journey with.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 1pm to 2pm at Cascade Memorial Chapel-Federal Way. A Funeral Service will be celebrated starting at 2pm by his cousin, and Pastor Randy Rogers, accompanied by musical selection performed by his Aunt Sally Malaney and cousins, Mark Iverson and John Tilelli. Cremation services will take place at a later date. Inurnment will follow in the weeks after at a private committal service at Edgewood Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
