Michael "Perry" Dolan, 84, born in Paradise California, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Kirkland, Washington with the love of his life, Barbara, by his side. The two met in 1984 and married in 1986 in Northern California where they resided until returning to Kirkland Washington in 1989.
Perry's passion was competitive swimming, later utilizing his skills by coaching high school swim teams until retirement. He also participated in the Washington Senior Olympics for a few years. Other passions included wood working, gardening, camping & fishing, authoring a book, "No Place to Cry" and simply spending time with his family regardless of the occasion. He was always dreaming about what he'd do if they won the lottery, often joking about buying a house next to each of their 7 combined children.
Besides his wife of 38 years, Barbara, Perry leaves behind two sons, Michael (Rita), Tim (Julie), 3 stepsons, Dave Langsted, Eric Langsted (Monica), Brian Langsted (Jack Huffman) and 2 stepdaughters, Colby Schimpf (Jamie) and Kris Murillo (Jon). He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Michael, Robert (Daizy), Brendon, Adrian, Xavier (Nicole), Stephanie (Gabe), Blake (Jess), Brenna, (Mike), Dane (Richie), Kyle (Sara), Shayne, Evan, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, US Naval Lieutenant Clarence Richard Dolan, Gladys Amelia Baker Dolan, and siblings Richard, Bob, Joyce, and Jim.
